Eric Taylor, Director of Athletics
In 2017, Eric returned to CHCA with 17 years of experience and an impressive resume as an educator and coach. Most recently, he added Athletic Director to his resume serving at his alma mater, Deer Park High School, in 2016 as Athletic Director and Head Varsity Football Coach. Under his leadership, the Wildcats rose to the next level, with many of its programs experiencing the most wins seen in years, or in some cases, ever in the history of the programs. We are blessed and excited to have Eric leading the charge of CHCA Athletics!
Taylor, a graduate of Deer Park High School, holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Northern Kentucky University and a Masters in Sports Administration from Xavier University. Before coming to CHCA, Taylor also taught and coached Football, Wrestling, and Track at various other local schools including Deer Park, Summit, Indian Hill, Wyoming and Finneytown. Eric was also the head varsity football coach at CHCA for eight years, winning numerous titles for the Eagles! Taylor and his wife Leah, have two children, Averi and Cael, who attend CHCA.
Tony Schulz, Associate Director of Athletics
Tony joined the Athletic Department in January, 2017. He is also our Head Varsity Baseball coach and brings a wealth of athletic organizational experience having been the director of the Reds Rookie Success League, an event director for the Lily Anne Schulz Memorial Baseball Classic, as well as a field instructor for the Cincinnati Reds Summer Baseball Camps. Tony is a 2000 graduate of Fairfield High School and a 2004 graduate of Georgetown College, where he lettered and played three years of baseball. He has been in the classroom as a teacher since 2007, most recently as a math teacher at his Alma Mater, Fairfield High School. We are excited that Tony will help in the continuation of the development of our athletic program while supporting the emotional, social, moral and spiritual needs of our athletes and coaches.
Amy Lutts, Athletic Administrative Assistant
Amy joined the Athletic Department in 2011 and is a proud parent of son, Colin (a 2017 CHCA graduate) and two daughters, Megan (a 2019 CHCA graduate) and Taylor, current CHCA Upper School student. Born and raised right here in Cincinnati, Amy graduated in 1995 from Landmark Christian School, top of her class. She has done administrative work since 1993 for several organizations including churches and non-profits, a locally-owned hydraulics company and a national computer consulting firm. She also loves working with kids - working for CHCA Athletics on all levels, from youth to high school, and is always looking for ways to help make the experience here excellent. As a former high school basketball cheerleader, Amy will have no problem cheering the Eagles on to victory!
Becki Droege, Athletic Administrative Assistant
Becki joined the Athletic Department in 2019, but has been a part of CHCA in 2012 and is a proud parent of son, Wyatt (a 2019 CHCA graduate) and two daughters, Ainsley and Mycah, current CHCA Upper School students. They are proud members of Eagle Nation, cheering their kids on in football, volleyball, swimming, track & field, softball and lacrosse. Wyatt is continuing on in college with pole vaulting.
Becki graduated from Hanover College with a BA in Art and a BA in Sociology. After graduation she went to Ball State University receiving a teaching license while working on a master of education with the intention to become a guidance counselor. But God had other plans and she met her brother’s roommate at Rose-Hulman. After marriage and kids, she went back to school attending Cincinnati Christian University where she completed her BS in Management & Ethics and Biblical Studies.
CHCA has blessed the Droege family in more ways than they ever imagined were possible. “We are a small piece of a big family and we thank God for the events in our lives that led us to become a part of the CHCA community.”
Wally Vickers, Athletic Coordinator
Wally joined the Athletic Department in 2019 and brings a wealth of athletic knowledge to the team. He is excited to get to the know the CHCA Community.
Adam Atallah ('07), Director of Sports Performance
Adam, a 2007 CHCA graduate, brings a wealth of experience from the athletic world. He led the client/partner relations at Ignition Athletic Performance Group in Cincinnati. He was the sports performance coach and lead project manager on administration projects for the CEO of Ignition Athletic Performance. He helped design and execute Ignition Performance Certification Seminars, created a new Sports Performance Nutrition division within Ignition and was an NFL Combine Program Coordinator responsible to recruit pro athletes and their agents. In addition, he helped develop and coordinate the opening of two training programs in Florida and Georgia.

Joe has been with CHCA since 2004, and Beacon Orthopaedics since 2007. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Cincinnati, was an intern for the Cincinnati Bengals prior to receiving his master's degree in Exercise Science from Auburn University. Joe and his wife Sacha have two children, son Andrew and daughter Parker.
